.270 Winchester

A flat-shooting deer cartridge with a loyal following for nearly a century.

Introduced in 1925, the .270 Winchester was made famous by outdoor writer Jack O’Connor. It shoots flat with moderate recoil.

It is a long-action cartridge and an excellent all-around deer round, especially where shots can stretch across fields and power lines.

Always use only the ammunition marked on your firearm’s barrel or slide, and follow the manufacturer’s guidance.
